About Me

I am a wife, mother of two and I discovered my passion for the camera while in college. I have always enjoyed the weather and taking photos but while studying Atmospheric Science at University of North Dakota, I found my passion for weather could mix well with the camera. I succeeded at Studio One, UND Television, station where I was a writer, reporter, shooter and my final year I was the weather producer for our live shows. Studio One helped me jump start my career, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science and started my first job as a Meteorologist for KXMB-CBS in Bismarck, ND. I was a very lucky woman, I landed my dream job right out of college. I contribute all my experiences of photography, video cameras and editing to my love for the weather.
I was also lucky in love, my husband and I married on our 6 year anniversary and settled down in the southwest corner of ND. Which relocated me from Bismarck to Dickinson, I originally grew up in the small town of New England (26 miles south of Dickinson) so it was nice to be 'home'.

To shorten up this story I worked with KQCD-NBC in Dickinson as the Production Manager where I got most of my experience with the video camera and the people I worked with were also wonderful! My time at KQ came to a close after the birth of my second child when I decided I wanted to spend more time at home with them both.
I love the feeling of family and there is nothing that makes me more proud, than knowing that I can capture memories for other families to treasure for years to come.
