Simple Pleasures

Yesterday, Friday was quite a busy little day! I woke up early to head to Bismarck for two booked appointments. I started off the morning with Mr. Owen. Owen was born a month ago and I had the pleasure of working with his parents; Justine & Dan, while Mr. Own was still in the oven;)

Then after the session with Owen and his parents, I was able to enjoy a quick lunch with my good friend K and her two girls! We had a great lunch date and I was happy they were able to meet me for a little bit.
After lunch it was off to the wedding of Laura & Jeff! Laura and Jeff were surrounded by their family and friends as they were united in marriage. Their wedding was beautifully decorated with browns, pinks and oranges. It was gorgeous! I had a wonderful time yet again with the family and you all welcomed me in, so thank you for that.

There are a few simple joys I absolutely love after a long day with Productions work. One of the simple pleasures I have is my pillow! Yes my pillow; after the prior nights sleep my pillow has sort of pushed the fluffy contents towards the top and I love it! When I lay down and work on getting into the comfy position, I flip the pillow so the fluff is under my head and the cool 'flip-side' of the pillow is my favorite! What a terrific way to unwind from a very productive day. You might think it's a little silly but it is one of the simple pleasures I enjoy.

The other simple pleasure I enjoy is when I wake up the next morning and see the excitement on my kids faces. Plus when I hear K say, "Oh Mommy, you're home, yeah!" I love it and it absolutely melts my heart when I see their excitement. I love it!!! Sometimes I get to see this in the evening when I come home from a local wedding.

I've got to get ready for the wedding of Marie to Nathan today in Medora!
